  • Managed the status of 500+ line items in production associated with client orders across 6+ vendors.

Cleo’s Yarn Shop | Operations Manager

  • Took initiative to design the new, larger storefront layout using CAD software (SketchUp); focusing on well-communicated pre-planning, utilization of current assets, and expansion into an in-store cafe counter.

  • Assistant project managed a team of four people to complete the new shop buildout in under four weeks; emphasizing the importance of polished customer-facing zones and displaying the full inventory adequately.

  • Planned, proposed, and executed a trip to the NY Sheep & Wool festival with over 100 people, grossing over $13k in sales and whose first day of ticket sales ranked in the shop's top 3 sales days on record. Acquired key material sponsors from current shop vendors for integration into branded gift bags for participants.

  • Developed and taught multi-session knitting workshops on intermediate and advanced skills.

  • Met with yarn brand representatives and advised on potential additions to the shop's stock to fill gaps in the offerings.

  • Conducted outreach to new vendors to stock their products; specifically independent yarn dyers and small businesses making yarn-related products.

  • Facilitated a shop tour via influencer marketing with a YouTuber who has over 50k followers.

  • Trained and supervised new employees, both part time and full time.

  • Spearheaded the development of a lighting fixture from concept to market launch in just 6 months, demonstrating exceptional project management and design skills.

  • Engineered an interchangeable system of internal components for a 10+ fixture lighting collection, improving product efficiency, reducing production costs, and enhancing user experience.
